TABE

The TABE assessment is given to find where the student is working academically. This is a requirement for admission into the programs. The TABE is given at George Stone Technical College.

There is a $15 TABE testing fee, payable in cash or money order only, and a photo ID is required. This fee must be paid before the test can be administered. An approved credit voucher instead of cash may be accepted from agencies sponsoring students. The voucher must be signed by a representative of the agency signifying the agency's responsibility to pay the test fee for the student.

Generally, the TABE is administered on Tuesdays at 7:45AM, and on Fridays at 7:45AM in the Assessment Department.

Pre-registration is required! You must complete your online application and have your application number available when calling to preregister for the TABE test.

Arrangements for accommodations may be made prior to testing by contacting the George Stone Assessment Department at (850) 941-6200 ext. 2160. An IEP or 504 Plan is required for documentation of accommodations.
